The Saint and the Sultan, is a forthcoming a 60-minute television documentary on positive Christian-Muslim relations today. Inspired by the historical encounter of St. Francis of Assisi and Sultan al Kamil. From Franciscan Communications, with help from Muslim and Christian friends. Join the effort!

Part I introduces the approach the documentary will take and highlights a visit to the House of Mary in Ephesus, Turkey, a popular pilgrimage site for both Muslims and Christians.

Part II moves on to the Mar Musa Monastery in Syria, a center for both contemplation and Muslim-Christian dialogue. Two locations in Egypt – Cairo and Damietta – provide the final preview of The Saint and The Sultan.
